How to use the dashboard
A quick guide to getting insights without getting misled.
1. Choose a dataset
Select English, Math, or Science. You can also upload a compatible CSV.
2. Pick your axes
Set the X axis to an SES metric and the Y axis to a performance metric.
3. Filter intentionally
Use grade, student group, locale, and district filters to focus the view.
4. Switch views
Chart view is best for distributions. Map view highlights spatial patterns.
Interpretation tips
- Look for trends across the full spectrum, not just the extremes.
- Use the “School/student filter summary” pane to verify what’s included.
- When you share a view, use the built‑in share link so others see the same filters.
